Using the warm hues of his country, he depicts vibrant scenes of Ghanaian life. His technique and his way of pasting paint in thick layers with knife strokes reflect a very Western style and classicism. His compositions seem abstract at first glance, but from a distance they are very realistic, teeming with life and colour.
